This is a really fun little drink that made me feel like a High Lady in all honesty. It’s pretty powerful and still packs a punch but is sweet and pretty to look at. 

Ingredients
½ oz Blue Curacao
½ oz Midori
2oz vodka (I used Kettle One)
½ oz simple syrup
¾ oz lemon juice
Ice

---

Instructions
-Add Blue Curacao to a martini glass
-Gently layer the Midori on top using a spoon
-Combine vodka, simple syrup, lemon juice and ice to a shaker and shake
-Gently layer from shaker using a spoon
-Enjoy

Take a Shot: Feyre is in the Spring Court after being taken back by Tamlin so that she could save the Inner Circle and her sisters after Hybern nearly killed them all. Now they all must start preparing for a war that none of them feel all too equipped to fight given all the new wheels that are turning that are setting them behind in a way they weren’t in the previous war.

“You bow to no one.”

    Tamlin the Tool sucks. This book makes me hate him so much. He’s awful and horrible and regardless of the minimal good that he does in this book it’s not redeemable. Not for what he did to Feyre originally, not for what he did to Elain and Nesta and especially not for what he did to all of Prythian by abandoning them to team up with Hybern. I don’t care if he was playing the other team he’s still a tool change my mind.
    Now that we’ve addressed that. I love High Lady Feyre. I love the way that everyone respects her as High Lady and not just because she’s Rhys’ wife or Rhys’ mate, but because she’s Feyre and she continually sacrifices for Velaris, Prythian, those she loves and anyone who needs protecting. The way that Feyre is so in control of her own destiny in the same way Rhys is in charge of his own. 
I just really love these characters and their story so naturally I love it. Book 2 is clearly my favorite, but there are parts of this one that I love a lot too. I really love the moments with Bryaxis and The Bone Carver where we get to really see the depth of power that exists in the world. I also love the interactions Feyre gets with her sisters again because they haven’t really had this extended time together in the whole series. We also start to see more interactions of all the men in the Inner Circle and Feyre’s sisters which make me laugh at the pure hilarity that three brothers would fall in love with three sisters.
We also meet the other High Lords we haven’t seen up until this book at the meeting with them. Oh and did I mention Tamlin the Tool? Yeah well I actually really like when he is there because it shows just how protective Rhys truly is of Feyre as well as the rest of the Inner Circle. I love when Azriel says “‘careful how you speak about my High Lady.’” Despite what Tamlin says I actually like how all the other High Lords get to see just how wretched he’s become. It’s a truly defining moment for a lot of the High Lords and clearly turns the tides of the war from their side. 
The overall story arc of this book is really great and follows all of our characters through a lot of realities of war and how long and grueling it truly is. I did however cry when Rhys died obviously, but that’s also because I cry at everything. I should have seen it coming the amount of times that it was mentioned that Rhys would “give all of himself” to protect those he loves should have done me in, but the first time I read it I didn't really see it coming. Overall, I love this series and it just gets better the more you read and it will likely always be a comfort series for me.​
